Spirit Away fanfiction draft

“Hello,  Chihiro Og speaking”

“Hello, Miss Og, according to your description, we have search entire town, but there is no place called bathhouse or any thing that is relate to it have been find…”, the men was speaking non stop, but noting went into my ears.

“Thank you, Good bye”, the excitement that I had is now gone.

Is there really no possibility for me to find him? Ten years ago he helped me to survive in that scary bathhouse and help me to find my name back again, but now where is he.

When I was total preoccupation thinking about him, the smell of burning have come out from the kitchen.

“Oh”, I was rushed off my feet, and ran to the kitchen to turn off the heat.

“Oh my god, what have you done” mum gently complained. At same time she throw the food into bin and clean up the kitchen for me.

“Thank you mum, love you”.

After receiving that disappoints massage, I grab the painting equipment and went to the temple. When I arrived I put the coin in my palm, and clasped it with pair of hand soaked with sweat, closed my eyes and pray. For me temple is a place that full of good spirits. No matter do you believe in those bodies of gods that made from the mud or whether they can help you to achieve the wish, people who come to this quiet place all shows their respect and faithful toward the god.

 I use all of my power to throw the coin into the air, seeing it fly in the air it feel like my entire life is control by this little coin.

“God, if you really can help others to achieve their wish, please let me see him for one more time”.  The coin dropped, I open my eyes,  and thinking that if this wish is too big and difficult to achieve it , maybe one day the sun will drop down to the earth.

I walk forward, standing beside the enormous  tree and try to choose a place that will help me to talk the best photo of the temple, it start to become my habit, to talk the photo of this place every time I came.

“Sorry, do you have a pencil I can borrow, I break my one”, I turned my body toward the voice and notice there is a person drawing behind me.

I gaze at him and thinking is that him, he got a pair of clean eye just like the eyes of new-born baby. He is wearing a white t shirt whit a pair of blue jean and black shoes.

When I was about to stand up, my attention start to catch by his beautiful drawing, and his signature,  Haku his name, that i almost forgot it.

Without thinking I write spirit of the Kohaku River  in the sand.  The sound of footstep is getting close to me; he is standing in the back of me.

I look at him with millions of unanswered questions in my mind. He bend down. Gentle smile emerged on his face I feel my heart beat faster.

“What is spirit of the Kohaku River?”

“Ah, friend of mine”.

“So, spirit of Kohaku River is a person” he starts to spoke softly, and stop drawing his picture. “For some reason, I feel very familiar about this name”

The unanswered questions in my head, seems to be sure.

“He must be very important person to you”.

“Yes” I start to nod my head like a Robot.

“At least you still remember his name, not like me…”

I start to notice the place that he is painting, clean road, with green glass land and in the end of the road there is a Chinese style gate that has red brick corridors. This is the place where I and he separate. 

“That place…”

“very strangely, this place have continues appear in my dream, it seems in this place, I farewell to someone who is very important to me, although I did not want her to leave, I promise to her that one day I will go to find her...” he stopped “but I can’t even remember her name, not even her appearance, It's ridiculous, right?” there is a sad and hopeless smile on his face.

“No, this is not ridiculous” I answered firmly. He seems very surprised about my how serious I was, then he smile.

He turned his body behind me; I look at his back, with a happy smile on my face. Yes, it must be him, I am sure he really is him.

There is a river that appear in my life, when I stay in that lonely deserted shore, just because wanting to hear gurgling sound of water, so I no longer lonely in the dark; when I walk in the desert, all I hope is that this river can appear, then I will no longer tolerate the hot. I do all this, just for that ordinary river, he flow quietly; I didn’t know how many years both of us has experience being separate. Finally, once again he appeared in front of me…, we finally met again.

I suddenly understand why we meet each other again, because within each of our heart there is a never fade drawing, only belongs to us.
